This extra large hood is a lovely hood for the summer/autumn transition. Its oversized hood is made with a soft wool and cotton blend that has a gorgeous crocheted look that adds a unique layer of style to any outfit (See photos for fabric close-up).
The structure of the hood is sturdy and holds its form well, with the pointed end accented beautifully. The oversized hood accommodates all kinds of hairstyles. the inner lining is a smooth cotton fabric that feels ultra-smooth to the touch and keeps hair from frizzing up from the crochet.
The scarf part if discreet enough that is can be layered under coats and jackets and tied around the neck to anchor the hood in place. The hood is hemmed and the scarf edges are overlocked to prevent fraying and give it a raw look.

Hand wash with mild detergent in cold water. Lay flat or hang to dry, no drying machine. Iron on medium setting.
