This hood is a lovely hood for the summer/autumn transition. It's a generous hood made with a soft wool and cotton blend that has a gorgeous rough texture that adds a unique layer of style to any outfit (See photos for fabric close-up). The silhouette of the cloak is evocative of bat wings, which adds a dark touch to any outfit. The hood also features a pointed hood that gives it a more ethereal look.
It features two laters that drape over the shoulders with the shorter one doubling as ties that you can secure the shawl around your shoulders with, so it stays in place effortlessly.
The edges are overlocked to prevent fraying and give it a raw look.
It can be worn over jackets or with lighter clothes as a sweater shawl (pictured).

Hand wash with mild detergent in cold water. Lay flat or hang to dry, no drying machine. Iron on medium setting.
